Quartz
Quartz is a mineral that’s easily available from the crust of earth. And yet, it’s quite valuable for its vast usage. It stands predominantly due to its high resistant to any type of weathering. Wide range of industries is using quartz because of its physical or chemical or combined properties of both. By Physical appearance varieties of quartz are available in and on our mother Earth like transparent, glassy, semi glassy, semi granular, granular & coloured quartz of rose, smoky, milky, black, green, pink & brown quartz.
High purity quartz becomes a strategic raw material for the industries like Ferro silicon, Ferro alloys and Glass. Silica glass melted out of high purity quartz offers a wide range of exceptional optical, mechanical and thermal properties which are essential for manufacturing many high-tech products in areas such as semi-conductor technologies, high temperature lamp tubing, telecommunications and optics.
